Which carriers take part
The Funzone subscription is billed through Swiss mobile operators. Sunrise and Salt take part. Your operator is recognised automatically on the signup page; if it is not recognised, the subscription cannot be completed.
Because billing follows the network your number sits on, a foreign SIM cannot be used even while you are in Switzerland.
How the charge reaches you
There is no card and no bank details. The operator puts the amount on your monthly invoice, or takes it from your prepaid balance if that is how your line works.
- Sunrise shows CHF 15 per week as a single item.
- Salt shows the same CHF 15 per week as three separate SMS charges of CHF 5.
The two add up to the same amount. The split on the Salt side is how that operator handles premium SMS billing and is not a surcharge.
Charges from your own plan
Standard SMS and data rates from your own mobile plan apply on top, exactly as they do for any other use of your phone. Playing over mobile data uses data; playing over wifi does not.
We have no influence on those rates. They are set by your operator and are part of your own contract with them.
Stopping the subscription
Send STOP to 995 by SMS. The operator confirms and the subscription ends at the close of the period you have already paid for.
If you would rather not use SMS, email contact@funzone-ch.com from the number the subscription runs on and we will do it for you.
Nothing renews after that unless you subscribe again yourself.
Something on your invoice looks wrong
Write to contact@funzone-ch.com with the date and the amount. We check it against the subscription records and reply within one to two working days.
If the charge turns out not to belong to this service, your operator is the right place to take it, since they carry the billing relationship with you.
