Privacy Policy

What this website collects, what your mobile operator handles instead, how long anything is kept and what you can ask us to do about it.

Who is responsible

This website, funzone-ch.com, is operated by Jess Media B.V., Spoorhaven 44-46, 2651 AV Berkel en Rodenrijs, Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 74876945. We decide what happens with the personal data described on this page, which makes us the controller for it.

For anything to do with your data, write to contact@funzone-ch.com. That address reaches a person, not a queue.

What this website collects

This site has no accounts, no login and no order form. There is nothing here to fill in, so there is very little to collect.

  • Server logs. Your IP address, the page you requested, the time, and which browser and operating system you are on. Every web server records this; it is how a page gets delivered and how we notice that something is broken.
  • Your cookie choice. Whether you accepted or refused the optional categories, so we do not ask again on every page.
  • Your language choice. Stored in your own browser under the key funzone-lang. It holds two letters and is never sent to us.
  • What you write to us. If you email support, we have your message, your email address and whatever you chose to include.

We do not ask for your name, your address, your date of birth or any payment details, and we have no way to collect them through this site.

What your mobile operator handles instead

The subscription itself is concluded on the signup page of your mobile operator, not here. Your mobile number, the confirmation and the billing all sit with them.

That means your number is not typed into this website and is not stored by it. We receive a subscription reference so that support can find your subscription when you write to us, and your number when you contact us from it yourself.

Your operator is a separate controller for the data it holds about you. Their own privacy terms apply to that, alongside ours.

Why we process it

Because we are established in the Netherlands, the General Data Protection Regulation applies to what we do. Because this offer is aimed at Switzerland, the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection applies alongside it. Both come down to the same thing: process only what is necessary, be proportionate about it, and make it recognisable to you. That is what this page is for.

  • To deliver the website. Server logs exist because a page cannot be sent to you without them.
  • To answer you. If you write to support, we use what you sent to reply and to trace a charge you are asking about.
  • To keep the service safe. Logs help us see abuse, fraud and outages.
  • With your consent. Statistics and marketing cookies are set only if you allow them, and you can withdraw that at any time.
  • To meet legal duties. Some records have to be kept because the law or the operator rules say so.

In the language of the GDPR: our legitimate interest in running and securing the site, performance of the contract when you contact us about a subscription, your consent for optional cookies, and compliance with our legal obligations.

Cookies and measurement

The cookie banner decides what is set beyond the strictly necessary. Refusing the optional categories costs you nothing on this site: everything still works.

Which categories exist, what each one does and how to change your mind later is set out in the cookie policy.

Who else sees it

We do not sell personal data and we do not trade it.

  • Our hosting provider runs the servers this site sits on and therefore processes the logs on our instructions.
  • Your mobile operator handles the subscription and the billing, as described above.
  • Measurement providers receive data only where you have consented to statistics or marketing cookies.
  • Authorities receive data only where we are legally required to hand it over.

Where your data is held

We are established in the Netherlands, so the data described here is processed inside the European Economic Area. Switzerland recognises the EEA as offering an adequate level of data protection, which means no additional safeguards are needed for data moving there from Switzerland.

If a service provider outside the EEA were ever involved, we would rely on the standard contractual clauses or another recognised safeguard, and you could ask us for a copy of it.

How long anything is kept

  • Server logs: up to twelve months, then deleted or aggregated so that individual visits can no longer be picked out.
  • Support correspondence: up to twenty-four months, so that we can still make sense of a follow-up question about an old charge.
  • Cookie consent and language choice: up to twelve months, after which you are asked again.
  • Measurement data: the retention set by that provider, which the cookie banner names.

When a period ends the data is deleted, unless a legal duty requires us to keep a specific record for longer.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it if it is wrong, to delete it, to restrict what we do with it, or to object to a particular use. You can also ask for a copy in a portable form, and you can withdraw your cookie consent whenever you like.

Write to contact@funzone-ch.com and we will answer within thirty days. We may ask one question to be sure we are talking to the right person, but we will not demand documents we do not need.

Exercising any of these rights is free and does not affect your subscription.

How it is protected

The site is served over an encrypted connection, access to the systems that hold support correspondence is limited to the people who answer it, and we keep as little as we reasonably can. Keeping less is the most reliable protection there is.

No system is perfect. If a breach ever affected you, we would tell you and the supervisory authority as the law requires.

Children

This service is not aimed at children, and subscribing requires you to be at least 18 or to have the permission of the person who pays the phone bill. If you believe a child has subscribed, write to contact@funzone-ch.com and we will cancel it and remove what we hold.

Changes to this policy

When the site, the providers or the law change, this page changes with them. The version published here is the one that applies, and the date of the last update is at the top.

Contact and complaints

The quickest route is contact@funzone-ch.com. Tell us what you want and we will sort it out.

If you are not satisfied with how we handled it, you can raise the matter with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, which supervises us, or with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern. Visitors elsewhere in the EEA may go to the supervisory authority where they live.

Questions about your data? Email contact@funzone-ch.com. You do not need to explain why you are asking.
